The Gadfly invites “local color” photos of this sort
A day ago all this pot revealed was a trio of bright yellow residents. What a difference a day makes. Look closely and you can see the Cardinal Climber is several inches up the stake. A good day’s work. At this rate the 8 ft journey to the lattice roof where it spreads out to provide some shade will take no time at all. Speedy devil!
The Gadfly
I had to look up what a Cardinal Climber. It is a hybrid of a morning glory and cypress vine. No wonder it grows so fast. There is a warning that it will take over your pot.
