Followers clear up loose ends

1) Where was the Washington school that was used for a satellite hospital during the Spanish Flu pandemic?

John Rothschild: Washington Jr. High School in the Northampton Heights section of South Bethlehem. Some thought it was the worst school, with no data to support that contention. There were a number of names who achieved prominence. (Follower Roy also provided info that Washington was on the Southside.)

2) Why was St. Michael’s cemetery named St. Michael’s, different than the nearby church?

Kim Carrel-Smith: St.Michael’s was the name of the society that founded the cemetery. When they wanted to turn it over to a Catholic church to take care of, they chose Holy Infancy. But the name stuck!
